
Video-games retailer Game Group is considering offloading its overseas operations. It confirmed today it was in talks with its lenders with regards to new terms for its facilities. As part of these discussions, the company is undertaking a strategic review of its international operations, which include 664 stores in in France, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, the Czech Republic and Australia.
Poundstretcher has stopped operating an ecommerce service. The value retailer, which only launched its online shop in 2010, has since removed the transaction capabilities from its site.
Amazon has launched an ecommerce operation in India. Junglee.com allows customers to shop from a range of 14,000 brands from local and global retailers.
