Sears, JD Sports, David’s Bridal ship overseas

Several more multichannel sellers have started to deliver goods beyond their borders. JD Sports, a Bury, Lancashire-based retailer of sports and casual apparel, now ships to nearly three dozen countries outside the UK, including Australia, Singapore, the UAE, and the US. Shipping costs £8.99 ($14.90) for most of Europe (though for Turkey the fee is £24.99/$41.45); delivery to North America, Asia, and the Pacific Rim is £13.99 ($23.20).

On the other side of the Atlantic, Conshohocken, PA-based David’s Bridal has begun delivering most of its online range of special-occasion fashion and accessories to Canada and 29 countries in Europe. Customers can pay in Canadian dollars, pounds sterling, and euros as well as US dollars. David’s Bridal is working with FiftyOne Global Ecommerce to facilitate the international fulfilment.

And US institution Sears now ships goods to 90 countries, ranging from Antigua and Barbuda to Vietnam. Pricing is available in 40 currencies in addition to US dollars. The Hoffman Estates, IL-based department store retailer has made more than 300,000 of its products, including apparel and home accessories, available for overseas delivery.
